We’ll be testing the moisture content AND the ash content of wood pellets and charcoal briquettes. The Computrac® MAX® 5000XL is a rugged, reliable loss-on-drying (LOD) and loss-on-ignition (LOI) moisture, solids and ash analyzer. It offers accurate and repeatable moisture, solids and ash analysis results up to 100 times faster than standard reference methods. With testing temperatures as high as 600°C, the MAX 5000XL has the ability to perform moisture, solids and ash testing with a single sample, making it an ideal alternative to expensive thermogravimetric analyzers.
