This isn't a great video from a production standpoint. But.
You can use the old speaker as a mount for your new sub and it's pretty solid. Once you have the template made, install it and drill through your holes in the template/old speaker into the car. The metal overlaps a little.
6 month update: I ended up swapping this sub out for a sub rated for a free air application. This space is impossible to seal. It the new sub produces much more sound now. ended up going with the Infinity REF1070.
