Kardamili is a seaside traditional village, located in Mani in the South Peloponnese, 35 km from Kalamata and 250 km from Athens. It is an important tourist resort with many hotel facilities and many visitors every year. There are also traditional taverns, picturesque pebbled coves and small harbors, crystal clear blue waters and many pebbled or sandy beaches in the surrounding area. The marked footpaths on the Vyros Gorge are excellent for walks to visit the old Byzantine churches.
