Initially started as a way to turn surplus produce into nutritious foods while hiring people with barriers to traditional employment, Goodly Foods began operating out of the Commissary Connect Food Hub in Vancouver in 2019. With access to the hub's commercial kitchen space and HACCP certification, the company has been able to turn otherwise wasted food into beautiful, nutritious products. They now sell their soups to post-secondary institutions, local health authorities, food service operations, and retail stores.
