TRIP REPORT - Southwest Airlines, St. Louis to Washington DC (DCA)

Описание: Trip Report time! I've always wanted to visit DC, so when Southwest put the route on sale over the summer, I couldn't resist. (Seriously, the flight was $99. Gotta love Southwest.) This video includes footage of driving through St. Louis early on a Saturday morning, parking at my favorite parking lot, a brief look around Terminal 2 at Lambert, footage of the whole flight, landing at Washington National Airport, my hotel, and a little montage of exploring the city with one of my best friends. I'd call that a successful day! Flight went well. My seatmate was very friendly (you'll probably notice that she liked to talk quite a bit). Overall, the whole experience was about as pleasant as a short flight can be.

The return trip (no video) was just as smooth. Only difference was that the plane was empty (and I mean EMPTY, likely less than 1/4 full). It was so deserted that I got an ENTIRE EXIT ROW TO MYSELF! Don't believe me? https://www.flickr.com/photos/missour...

About the audio problems - For some reason, the footage from my small handheld camera (all of the footage out the window of the plane) was corrupted and nearly lost. I managed to recover most of it, but you might notice some artifacts in the sound from the recovery process. Tried to edit out as much of it as I could. Sorry about that! The SD card in that camera has since been permanently retired.
