Vinayanath B – Below Knee Amputee
Mr. Vinayanath presented to us as a Left Below knee amputee. He lost his left leg in an unfortunate train accident. Prior to the accident he had lost strength in his right side due to a stroke and He is an Asthma Patient too.
We had two challenges ahead of us
1. As they were financially not so sound raising the funds for the prosthesis was a task, thankfully few of our friends from Dubai contributed for the cause. Big Thanks to all of them.
2. As he had multiple issues such as Asthma, Lesser strength on his right-hand side due to stroke, and mentally also he was little shaken after the train accident which did not help him gain any confidence to walk on his own, we partially overcame this challenge by continuous training and by motivating him, now he can walk with the help of a walker, and we hope after few months he can walk independently.
Once again a big thanks to all of them who supported us in this cause.
