President Hakainde Hichilema says it is in the interest of the world to see developing countries like Zambia advance as this addresses challenges such as illegal migration from Africa into Europe.
President Hichilema says this is why Zambia is focused on increasing investments with countries it enjoys bilateral relations with.
Speaking at State House when he received credentials from Diplomats from nine countries, President Hichilema said Zambia will also support value addition ventures and ensure goods find markets in other countries through joint partnerships.
And, President Hichilema says Zambia's Foreign Policy anchored on peace, security, stability and economic development supports a world based on fairness and rules that apply to everyone without exception.
He said wars such as those in Europe should be handled peacefully as they are disrupting trade links.
President Hichilema said Zambia will continue doing its part to keep peace in the world and will not transport instability to its neighbours and the world.
Meanwhile, Serbia Ambassador Jasna Zrnovic called for strengthening of the historical partnership between the two countries which started many years ago and saw the construction of many structures in Lusaka such as FINDECO House and the Mulungushi International Conference Center.
Ireland's Ambassador to Zambia Aidan Fitzpatrick said his country has doubled its investment in Zambia in the last few years and looks forward to continued growth.
Meanwhile, Czech Republic Ambassador to Zambia Jifi Kyrian said his country is shifting its foreign policy to Africa and will continue to support Zambia in areas such as health and humanitarian service.
At the same event, Palestine Ambassador to Zambia Eleyan Keswani thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for standing with his country in troubled times of war where thousands of people have been killed.
For, Chad Ambassador to Zambia Apollinaire Mogombaye his country is committed to build relations with Zambia especially in trade.
And Republic of Venezuela Ambassador to Zambia, Belen Teresa Orsini said her country will work with Zambia to help solve conflicts in the world based on shared values.
Nicaragua Ambassador to Zambia Nadeska Carlson also presented her credentials and noted that the two countries are bound by the promotion of dignity and should harness cooperation in areas such as tourism, energy and agriculture.
And New Zealand High Commissioner to Zambia Philip Hewitt said his country aims to grow relations building on the work with Zambia already underway where dairy farmers are being supported to increase production.
For Denmark Ambassador to Zambia Karin Poulsen, her country will work to enhance the relationship with Zambia through the European Union to improve opportunities for trade and investment.
