Описание: Amid an expected slowing economy next year, one analyst said more needs to be done to help fresh graduates in Singapore navigate a tougher job market. For instance, by converting traineeships into full-time positions, with incentives for companies to do so. Earlier this year, the Manpower Ministry revealed that the unemployment rate for those aged 30 and below rose for the first time — from 5.4% in March to 5.7% in June. Reasons given include tighter competition, with more fresh graduates entering the job market immediately after graduation. Caitlin Ng reports.
