Today’s vlog is a real one.
With an extreme 44°C heatwave, we had to prep ahead to survive the week. Dad starts the day doing meal prep for our Wednesday family dinner, showing how he makes his scalloped potatoes so we don’t have to cook during the hottest days.
I then reset the homeschool classroom and get everything ready for school starting back tomorrow. You’ll come along as I plan our first week of homeschool, sign up for required programs, print lesson plans, organise paperwork, and prepare for homeschool group on Friday.
It’s an incredibly hot (and honestly dangerous) day, so things are slower, simpler, and very real. We finish with some sweet family moments, Dad cleaning the kitchen and making a quick salad for dinner, and I end the vlog with a thank you to our members and a quick chat about upcoming uploads.
