Best Secondary Guardian spirit in Nioh? Dragon of the North DLC

Описание: Today I want to talk about secondary guardian spirits in Nioh, and mainly which one has the best stats. I played with many of the guardian spirits including the newly added ones including the Blue Dragon and found a spirit that performs above the rest.

For secondary guardian spirits in Nioh, you only get the benefits of two passive stats to use while they are not equipped. For most of the spirits these stats are very poor, ranging from elemental damage increases to luck etc. There were two spirits that had some potential.

Aya Kumori or the bat spirit gave a bonus to rear attack damage, but with buffs getting diminished returns after 30% or so this makes it not quite as good. If you use the Kingo set you do not have much extra room for back attack damage before the percentage makes it useless.

For my pick of the best secondary Guardian spirit in the game I am choosing Bisha's Centipede. For Bishas centipede bonuses, you get an increase to elemental Resistance as well as a new special effect called pierce through block. Pierce is a very very good stat, because it deals damage to an opponent who is blocking and deals the percentage directly to them. At 25% you have a major advantage over enemies in PVP and PVE.

Today I wanted to test Tengen Kujaku, who in my opinion is the best guardian spirit in Nioh. What makes Tengen Kujaku the best guardian spirit in Nioh? Stats! For general increases to attack power, defense, and ki regeneration, Tengen Kujaku delivers more than any other guardian.

The reason this is so much better than other guardians is because of a certain passive stat in this spirit guardians arsenal. Bonus from amrita absorption basically gives you a buff depending on the stance you are in while receiving amrita.

High stance - Attack buff (in my tests it was around 60%)
Mid stance - Defense buff
Low stance - Ki Regeneration Buff (similar to sacred water)

These buffs alone can beat out some of the most offensive, defensive, and ki based guardians you can choose, but together they make Tengen Kujaku in a league of his own.

When paired with the carnage talisman the attack buff stacks to be over a 200% attack power increase! This is an absolutely absurd amount, and makes this spirit guardian easily the best in Nioh outside of infinite living weapon builds.
