Over two sessions, surfers and bodyboarders traded waves in proper beach break conditions. Strong South Easter. Cold Atlantic water. Running walls with the odd hollow section that made the battle worth it.
It wasn’t easy.
Wind on it. Sidewash. Rips shifting.
But when it lined up, it lined up.
DUNES has been pumping lately and this edit captures the raw energy of Cape Town beach break surfing at its best. No perfection. No glassy fantasy. Just real conditions and a crew willing to paddle out.
