After searching through many YouTube videos, I haven't found anyone using this technique so I decided to share it.
This mixing technique comes in handy when both tracks are similar but when played together don't sound right. Cutting between each of the tracks using the crossfader allows the mix to feature both tracks without sounding like there's too much going on.
The trick to this technique is picking out the best parts of each track and making sure that they're played, whilst also creating your own rhythm for the mix.
