For Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Tom Cruise refused to use a green screen. He actually strapped himself to the side of an Airbus A400M military plane.
The plane took off and flew to 5,000 feet. Tom did the stunt 8 separate times.
He had to wear special scleral contact lenses that covered his entire eyeballs just so the wind pressure wouldn't blind him.
