Every day, I embrace the opportunity to prioritize my health, knowing that my past doesn’t define me. For over twenty years, I was trapped in the hellhole of addiction, losing nearly everything—including my health and even custody of my beautiful daughter. It was a hard road, but today, I am living proof that transformation is possible.
Writing my book, *Let the Fun Begin: Exposing the Disease of Addiction and its Accompanying Demons*, is my way of reaching out to others who are struggling. I want them to know that no matter how dark things may seem, there is always a way forward. My story isn’t just about overcoming addiction—it’s about reclaiming health, joy, and self-worth. If I can rise from those depths, so can they.
Taking care of myself is my daily commitment, and that includes exercise. Whether standing tall or sitting in a chair, movement matters. I keep my body strong by engaging in gentle stretches, rolling my wrists, and wriggling my fingers to maintain flexibility. Even seated, I focus on good posture—shoulders relaxed, back straight, feet grounded. Strength and vitality don’t require perfection, just persistence.
At seventy-one, I am thriving. I love making myself into a confident, radiant senior superstar, proving that age is no barrier to feeling beautiful, healthy, and empowered. Through my words and actions, I hope to inspire others to step into their best selves—regardless of where they’ve been. The past is behind me, and today, I shine.
