A complete record of a journey through the heart of the Hokuriku region. We began our day with a traditional breakfast at Yamanaka Onsen, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Kaga mountains. From there, we transitioned from the old world to the new, traveling through Kagaonsen Station to reach our base in Toyama.
The day’s route took us further into the history of the Sanada clan in Ueda, before returning to the coast. We ended the evening with a walk through the illuminated Kansui Park and a feast of fresh Toyama Bay Seafood. From mountain springs to deep-sea treasures, this is the essence of winter in Japan.
