The Trinamool Congress is also expected to move court over the incidents of post-poll violence. Meanwhile, police action has intensified, with the DGP confirming 200 FIRs, over 400 arrests, and more than 1,100 preventive detentions to control the situation.

The Election Commission has directed a strict zero-tolerance approach towards violence. Political reactions remain divided as TMC raises concerns over law enforcement, while BJP leaders downplay the scale of incidents, calling them internal conflicts.
