Part number 1310 CV.
This will slide directly onto your stock transfer case output shaft with no hack, no tap. This works with NP231, NP242. Should work on D35, 8.25, D44, maybe 8.8.
We got a short XJ front shaft. The one I got was out of an early XJ. I believe it was a 2.8v6 OR any XJ front shaft if you want to get it re-tubed.
You need the yoke bolts from the stock XJ shaft you pulled


1. Bolt your 3103-27CV yoke to your new rear shaft. Double check the bolts.
2. Remove your stock shaft.
3. Slide the yoke with shaft into your transfer case. You may have to do this a few times to get the U joint lined up, or leave the t-case in nuetral so you can spin it.
4. Bolt the shaft to your axle. Now would be a good time to drill it out for U bolts versus straps
5 Adjust pinion angle as needed with shims.
For me, it works great, doesn't vibrate even at 75 mph.

And honestly my lift probably won’t settle like rough country does but if you have the money just go ahead and buy a lift
