It was day two of our adventure and we awoke to a foggy morning in the Carson National Forest. The cool damp air, the soft light filtering through the mist, the stillness of the world, the pleasant notes of birdsong, a morning cup of coffee, all lent to make us know: Today would be a good day to drive.
