RepealSMART Campaign Update 10-17-11

Описание: This is an update on the progress of the RepealSMART campaign, and several action items for this week.

Highlights:

We are almost out of signature booklets/petitions- will be ordering another 600.
We now have an office in Cotati staffer Mon/Thurs/Fri from 10-2, and some Saturdays. A detailed schedule will be posted on our website.
We have a RepealSMART Campaign Hotline: (707) 583-9209

ACTION ITEM: Attend SMART Board Meeting at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 19th at San Rafael City Hall- 1400 5th St.- closed session is first, with general business expected at 2:30 PM.
ACTION ITEM: Write letters to the editor of your local paper, and talk to friends and neighbors about the campaign. You can email letters to the Press Democrat at [email protected], and the MarinIJ at [email protected] They ask that you confine letters to 250 words- short and to the point.

ACTION ITEM: Turn in petitions around the end of the month, and get new ones (this will allow us to start reviewing and tallying signature counts).
