ROAD TRIP MIDDLE EAST: Iran (Part 3 - Yazd, Isfahan)

Описание: Welcome back to the next part of my journey as I travel through Iran, filming my experience as a tourist, sharing with you the kindness of Iranian people. This time, I go from Shiraz to Yazd and then up north to the beautiful city of Isfahan. In this episode, we rent a car and drive to the magnificent historical ruins of Persepolis. I sleep in a little ecolodge homestay called Nartitee in the mudbrick village of Taft. The next day, I explore Yazd, a former centre for Zoroastrianism, and meet a sweet local girl and her mother. The adventure continues as our road trip takes us up to Isfahan - a sophisticated cultured city with inspiring architecture and history. We stay in the home of a kind local couple and I speak with their son, Amir, who is a professor at a university in Isfahan.
I continue to see examples of the kindness of strangers, Persian hospitality and signs that this population truly wants peace and friendship with the rest of the world. I hope that in sharing this journey with you, I can give you some insight into their hearts and connect this troubled but beautiful country with humanity.
