Anil Ambani appears before ED as agency attaches Rs 3,716 cr Pali Hill property

Описание: Industrialist Anil Ambani reached the headquarters of the #EnforcementDirectorate (#ED) in #Delhi on February 26 after being #summoned in connection with an ongoing #moneylaundering investigation.

The ED has attached Ambani’s Mumbai Pali Hill residential property, ‘Abode’, valued at Rs 3,716.83 crore, under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA). The action is linked to an alleged bank fraud case involving Reliance Communications Ltd.

The attachment was carried out by the ED’s Special Task Force (Headquarters). Earlier, a portion of the same property worth Rs 473.17 crore had already been attached as part of the probe.
