Skoolie Conversion Tour - With Kids!

Описание: Welcome to our skoolie conversion tour! We have been meaning to make a school bus conversion tour video since we moved in but just finally got around to it. We are not videographers, photographers, or video production experts as you will clearly see when you watch our skoolie bus conversion tour! We received inspiration and so many great ideas from watching other amazing skoolie conversion tours on youtube and scouring instagram for pictures of skoolie layouts. It felt important to put ours out there too, even if it's less than perfect (although that most accurately represents us).

We have been living full time in our off grid skoolie home since January of 2020. We started our journey with a few months traveling across the country to North Carolina and a quick tour of Florida. COVID brought us back to Colorado to shelter in place for a couple of months and now we are back to full-time travel (and quarantine on the road).

When we bought the bus on a whim from a government auction back in 2017 we fully intended to do the conversion ourselves. However, after we did all the demolition, had a baby, finished grad school (Anne), became co-owner of a budding tenant finish company (Nick) - we realized we would never actually realize our dreams of living full time on the road as a family of five without help. Chrome Yellow Corp was a welcome relief to us. They raised the roof, added the insulation, roughed in the electric, plumbing and solar. When we got the bus back in the summer of 2019 we had a lot of work still to do and now we were on the clock. Some projects remain incomplete and when we find a great boondocking spot we try to finish up little things. The bus will likely forever be a work in progress.
