Описание: At the Central Australian Community of Mutitjulu - which lies in the shadow of Uluru - both the Anangu language and English are spoken freely and embraced. Traditional owner Sammy Wilson says this hasn't always been the case. When he attended his first non-Indigenous school, the teacher actually changed his name to make it sound more English. In fact, his name isn't Sammy Wilson at all... but rather, Tjama. For NAIDOC week, Tjama explains what can be lost when our languages aren't respected, and just how much a name can mean. This report from NITV's Elliana's Lawford.
