Shaj was born in Bangladesh, grew up in South Shields England. He is one of the best European flyweights and Head Coach at ACE MMA.

After suffering the worst performance of his career, Shaj Haque made a comeback with a 5 fight win streak to become the Cage Warriors World Champion with a spectacular KO. He hopes his success can inspire youth in the local community of South Shields and also those in Bangladesh to believe in themselves and purse their ambitions.
