SureCall Fusion4Home vs WeBoost Connect 4G Comparison Video
We spent some time at a cabin in the mountains to see how the SureCall Fusion4Home and WeBoost Connect 4G perform in rural areas. We had little-to- no coverage before installing the boosters, which we installed according to each manufacturer’s suggestions.
In Summary the SureCall Fusion4Home took us from “No Service” to a -81 dBm signal, which is good enough to send pictures over text and make calls without interruption. The WeBoost Connect 4G has a nice aesthetic and, like the SureCall, it was easy to install, but the performance just wasn’t there. The booster did improve our signal and we went from “No Service” to a -106 dBm signal, which is a somewhat usable signal if you stand right next to the booster. One other thing to note is that the WeBoost booster got really hot after we ran it for 30 minutes, that flags a safety concern and can also damage the components inside of the booster.
We Suggest the Fusion4Home and would actually go so far as to deter anybody who is looking for a signal booster for their cabin from buying the WeBoost Connect 4G because of safety concerns and lacking performance.
