This video is shooted while travelling by road from Malia to Samakhiali.
The Gulf of Kutch is an inlet of the Arabian Sea along the west coast of India.
It is located n the state of Gujarat, which is renowned for extreme daily tides.
It is about 99 miles in length, and divides Kutch and the Kathiawar peninsula regions of Gujarat.
During the summer as the hot sun causes the water to evaporate, a bed of minerals and salt is left behind, which creates this unique salty marshland.
Gulf of Kutch produces 95% of the salt requirements of the country.
Salt pans are located close to inter-tidal area and deep into the land.
Surajbari Bridge is seen during the trip.
The maximum depth of Gulf of Kutch is 402 feet (123 m).
It is a region with highest potential of tidal energy generation.
It is leading tidal energy generation site of India and followed by the Gulf of Khambhat, Sundarbans and Seashore of Maharashtra.
The Gulf is characterised by strong current with depth averaged velocities exceeding 2 m/s.
Wind turns the propeller-like blades of a turbine around a rotor, which spins a generator, which creates electricity.
Each wind turbine is approx. 262 feet high and the tower has a diameter of 14 feet.
The blades of the wind turbines are around 120 feet long so that the total height from the ground to the tip of the blade is more than 380 feet, approximately the height of a 32-story building.
You can observe the length of Wind Turbin blade in the video as you can see 120 feet blades are being transported through road on a trailer.
