ROAD TO AUSTIN EP. 6 | THE FINALE | MARATHON WEEKEND

Описание: Last week I flew to Austin, Texas to run a 3:40 marathon, but left with memories that will last a lifetime.

The running community is unlike any other - so supportive, uplifting, and filled with amazing people. I’m beyond grateful for all the friends, old and new, who made last weekend unforgettable.

To my @lskd.usa team, thank you for your unwavering support. To my @bpnsupps team, thank you for inspiring me to push my limits and do hard things. To my friends and family back home, @newportrunclub and @nikestudios - your cheers from afar kept me going every step of the way. I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing communities, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Your encouragement means the world to me.

Story time:
Two years ago I stood on the sidelines of the Austin Marathon with @bpnsupps, watching in awe as some of my closest friends pushed themselves to the limits. I knew, in that moment, that this race would be my first marathon. I didn’t know the journey it would take to get here, but I knew it would be worth it.

Fast forward to today, and here I am, reflecting on the most incredible experience of my life.

It wasn’t just a race; it was a test of strength, determination, and heart. There were moments when I thought I couldn’t go any further, and others when I felt unstoppable. Flying to Texas alone, running those 26.2 miles by myself, and crossing that finish line brought an overwhelming sense of accomplishment I have never felt before. The emotions hit harder than I expected, and I found myself crying as that medal went around my neck.

Yesterday I didn’t just cross a finish line, I crossed a threshold into a new version of myself.

This experience has taught me something I’ll carry with me forever: success doesn’t happen overnight… It takes grit, persistence, and showing up every single day. The sweat, the sacrifices, the early mornings — they all add up. And when you keep pushing forward, even when it feels impossible, you WILL reach your goals.

So, to anyone who’s chasing a dream, no matter how big or small: Never EVER give up. Your hard work will pay off, and the finish line will be sweeter than you can ever imagine.

ATX holds a special place in my heart. One of the best weekends of my life, and I’ll carry these moments with me forever.
