I'll be doing a few tips and tricks for the Half Sword Playtest as I've received a few request to do so.
By default, the sensitivity in game is too high. So first turn that down a substantial amount. Due to this being a physics based game, when your sensitivity is too high you induce TONS of wobble into the sword, y'know Newton's 3RD law.
By reducing the wobble you gain an advantage when it comes to the cleanliness and accuracy of strike. You don't have to swing fast to hit hard. So turn down the sensitivity and play with the weight or the sword by moving it into different positions. Then start playing around with that same weight when an enemy is involved, get a feel for the way your character reacts to the opponent.
