In this Video I’ve got a review of Cloven Hoof Rum. This was conceived back in 2018 by Paul in his Pub in Oxfordshire. The base rums are from Guyana and Trinidad, then Paul spices up the Rums with…well, we know Cloves. But everything else is a “mysterious secret!” Although I’m guessing there’s cinnamon, Orange and Ginger in there too.

This rum for me, again, was more of a mixing rum. Although the choice of mixers that it worked with wasn’t that high. I know some of you will enjoy it with coke. But for me, the only 2 mixers that I really enjoyed were the Ginger Beer and Cawston Press Apple & Ginger Juice. I personally thought the fruitier mixers didn’t work that well. It definitely wasn’t in my top 10 Spiced Rum and Cokes. And I thought the Ginger Ales were a little hit and miss. So I’m not entirely sure how to recommend this Spiced Rum.
