Hardy’s explosive runs of 72 and 10 yards before halftime, combined with Pride’s defensive scores, helped Missouri build a commanding lead and finish 7–3 overall and 3–3 in the SEC. Mississippi State fell to 5–6 overall and 1–6 in conference play, leaving them needing a win over Mississippi in their final game to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2022.
