Khushi Festival 2025

Описание: Khushi, Oldham's annual festival of happiness, returned in 2025 to celebrate South Asian Heritage and culture.

Over the weekend of August 2-3 2025, Oldham Coliseum in partnership with Women's CHAI Project presented Khushi Festival to nearly 2000 people in Oldham Library and Northern Roots. From show-stopping outdoor performances and banging dhol beats to family friendly workshops and live music, there's something for everyone at Khushi Festival.

A highlight of the festival was our inspiring series of co-commissions, bringing together talented artists and local community groups in creative collaboration. We're thrilled to have partnered with West Oldham CHAI Project, Yuvanis Foundation, Saheli Women’s Group and Broadfield CHAI Project.

The amazing artists selected to work with these groups included Crooked Arts, Sarah Yaseen, Fajar Kayani, and Punam Ramchurn.
