This trip to Canada was genuinely unforgettable. I spent two amazing weeks exploring Montreal, experiencing the unique French-speaking culture of the region, and travelling deep into the winter wilderness at Auberge du Lac Taureau.

I visited at the end of January, right in the heart of Canadian winter, with temperatures dropping to around -35°C to -40°C at times. Despite the extreme cold, the landscapes, activities, and atmosphere made this one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken.

In this video I share the highlights of my journey across Quebec — from the vibrant city streets of Montreal to the snowy forests and frozen lakes of the Canadian wilderness.

During the trip I experienced incredible winter adventures including:

• Dog sledding
• Snowmobiling
• Fat biking
• Tubing
• Exploring forests, rivers, and snowy mountain landscapes

A huge part of what made this trip special was experiencing it alongside a French-speaking friend, which made the whole journey feel even more authentic.

Even after seeing Canada in such extreme winter conditions, I’d genuinely love to come back and explore Quebec again in the summer to experience a completely different side of the country.
