We moved to Ireland! 4 Months Later - The REAL Update.

Описание: Welcome back... it’s been a minute. 🫶
It’s been about three months since we moved to Ireland, so I wanted to sit down and give you a real update.

Quick recap: I’m American (from Portland, Or). I moved to Vancouver B.C. five years ago for my Irish guy, we got married in Italy in May, and in September we packed up our daughter and our dog and moved our whole life to Ireland.

First things first: zero regrets. The family is thriving here, my daughter is flourishing with weekly time with grandparents and cousins, Liam’s doing great, Walter is living his best Irish life… and we went from a tiny two-bedroom apartment to a peaceful four-bedroom home with trees and hills right outside the door.

But personally? I’m not thriving yet. And I think that’s normal.

This move is a massive life change, and I’m rebuilding my routines, my work, my identity — and trying to create a life for me here too. On top of that, the last few years have been intense: pregnancy, postpartum, grief, building a business, planning a wedding, and preparing for an international move. I haven’t really had the breathing room to process any of it.

I’m turning 45 this week, I’m a new mom, a wife again, living in a new country… and I feel like I’ve outgrown my old self, but I haven’t fully stepped into the next version yet. I’m in the “messy middle” not in a scary way, but in a my soul is tapping me on the shoulder kind of way.
