In March 2018 THE SHU SHU'S invited U.S. born soul sensation Gisele Jackson to their rehearsal space in Barcelona to "jam a few numbers." She was in town and in the mood to sing. This casual and spontaneous jam session was captured on video and audio by Abel, the trio's organ player, and the results are a relaxed set of "fly on the wall" style videos that capture Gisele and the band at their most comfortable.

Before making Brooklyn, NY her heart and home, Gisele toured as a ‘Raylette’ with Ray Charles at the peak of his career, having since also shared many a stage with the incomparable Donna Summer and James Brown, the Godfather of Soul. She has performed in 30 countries: North America, Asia, Europe and Africa. She has performed solo at the leading jazz houses in the U.S. and has performed as the opening act for Tito Puente, Bette Midler, The Commodores, the B-52’s and a host of other music giants across a variety of genres. A most memorable performance was at Carnegie Hall (with Kid Rock) and the NY Pops; Marvin Hamlisch conductor. Other performances include festivals, major openings, numerous celebrity weddings and corporate events for Fortune 500 companies, hollywood premieres and award ceremonies. She was requested to perform at the Inauguration of U.S. President William H. Clinton.

Shu Shu Organ Trio are Abel Boquera (Spain) on Hammond organ, Dave Wilkinson (UK) on guitar and Caspar St. Charles (UK) on drums. Collectively having backed up artists such as Brian Jackson, Sharon Jones, Charlie Wood, Ray Gelato, Jackson Browne, George Braith and more. Caspar and Dave also ran cult funk/rock band Phat Fred and Abel was the leader of Barcelona's Mother Groove quartet.
