Pakistan rejected allegations made by Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh regarding Pakistan Air Force (PAF) 'providing close air support to Taliban' in certain areas of the country. Pakistan has also closed down its key border crossing with Afghanistan following reports of the Taliban taking control of an important border crossing point Spin Boldak.
