BUDAPEST 🇭🇺 Heroes Square to Gellert Hill | Vero and Justin (Hungary travel vlog video)

Описание: Watch in 4K ✧ In this March 2020 Hungary travel vlog, we spent the day visiting Budapest's top attractions and took the oldest metro in continental Europe from Heroes Square to Gellert Hill. There is so much to see and do and most of it is free!

We couldn't believe how big Budapest is and did not anticipate how beautiful the views were. Although we were there during the March COVID-19 state of emergency, we still got to enjoy everything. We started the day with a not so stellar breakfast, but redeemed ourselves at Café Gerbeaud for some awesome croissants and a slice of their famous 160 cake. From Heroes' Square, we took the oldest metro in continental Europe and had a good laugh when we missed our stop. We then crossed the Elisabeth bridge to go explore Gellért Hill. Guys- there are LOTS of steps haha but it's all worth it. From the Philosophy Garden, to the Citadella, the view points are incredible and the statues are impressive. So much history in such a little area. After gazing at the amazing Gellért Hill Cave, we made our way to Belvárosi Lugas Restaurant for a late lunch, overlooking the St. Stephen's Basilica. Finally, we took turns to go visit the Basilica (since dogs are obviously not allowed inside) and drove back to our new hometown in Zagreb, Croatia.

COST OF LIVING
We did our best to add the prices for everything in the video to give you an idea of what things cost. Overall, it is not an extremely cheap place to visit, but definitely on the budget travel side. I'm sure with more research you can find cheap and delicious spots to eat at.

DOG FRIENDLY
Budapest is super dog friendly!! Our 10 year old dog Ember was able to join us for everything except the New York Palace Café. I think she had an amazing day and we loved sharing it with our little girl.
