2-door convertible
1962 was the last year of production for the first-generation Corvette, and this example is an original, numbers matching, survivor with a great story. Working since the age of 12 and diligently saving his money, the owner bought this Vette for himself as a high-school graduation present in 1970. Having a beat-up VW for his daily transportation, he was able to save the Vette for special occasions. Like his first date with a college classmate. Her name is Susie, and they are still married and still enjoy their occasional drives in their “first date car.”
