Although it was late in the summer, i finally made up my mind to tackle the french canals. I took the Mast down, stowed it on deck and set off.
From Zeeland, In the Netherlands, I followed the canals and rivers south, and I reach the entrance to the Canal entre Champagne et Boulogne, hoping there will be enough water for my shallow draft, 26' Heavenly Twins Catamaran.
This episode is just a quick description of the route taken so far, in the next episodes i will show more details about the canals and conditions for a single handed sailor going south in autumn and winter.
