Today I visit Almont campground in Almont Colorado. This campground has 10 sites, 5 for rv or trailers and 5 tent sites.
Sitting right on the edge of the Gunnison river, it is a popular place for fishermen. Rainbow and brown trout are caught spring through the end of summer and the fall brings the Kokanee salmon in.
There are plenty of things to do within minutes of this campground like hiking, bicycling or exploring Gunnison and Crested Butte.
