Khyentse Wangpo composed many prayers and sādhanas that focus on taking devotion to one’s guru as the heart of the path to awakening. This special guru yoga, Bestower of Supreme Wisdom, was written by Khyentse Wangpo, with himself as the central figure, at the request of a devoted student.
Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche, who is an incarnation of Khyentse Wangpo himself, gives the reading transmission of this special guru yoga and, with Do Tulku Rinpoche, teaches on why guru yoga is such an important practice for students of the Vajrayāna.
