And how those sheets are cut, formed, drilled, treated, and assembled into the fuselage of a commercial aircraft carrying hundreds of people across the sky.

A completed Boeing 737 is approximately 80% aluminum by structural weight. That is roughly 30 metric tons of metal in a single aircraft. Every gram of it started as red dirt.
