Описание: Quick look at a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL OM603 Turbodiesel. I wasn’t really planning a video for YT — just meshed together some videos I took after this Benz joined our family following a restoration performed by a good friend. Nearly six inches longer than the short-wheelbase 300SD, the 300SDL served as its replacement on the w126 platform in 1986. A turbocharged, inline six-cylinder powerplant, the OM603 engine succeeded the groundbreaking OM617 five-cylinder engine. Horsepower is relatively low, but diesel torque and an unmistakable clatter make for a unique and satisfying driving experience.
