Описание: തിരുവനന്തപുരം നെടുമങ്ങാട് ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രസവ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്കിടെ നവജാതശിശു മരിച്ചു. ഡോക്ടറുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നുണ്ടായ ഗുരുതരമായ വീഴ്ചയാണ് കുഞ്ഞിന്റെ മരണത്തിന് കാരണമായതെന്ന് ആരോപിച്ച് കുടുംബം രംഗത്തെത്തി. പാലോട് സ്വദേശി നിരഞ്ജനയുടെ കുഞ്ഞാണ് ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്കിടെ മരിച്ചത്. ഡോക്ടർ ബിന്ദു സുന്ദറിനെതിരെയാണ് കുടുംബം പരാതി നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. സംഭവത്തിൽ ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജ് അന്വേഷണത്തിന് ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. രാവിലെ ലേബർ റൂമിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ വൈകിയതാണ് മരണകാരണമെന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കൾ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു.
