This Cheap Function Generator I am using distorts its waveform at higher output levels on the higher end of its spectrum.
This is why I am only using it at a lower output level.
A better Function Generator may be more suitable.

I am pleasantly surprised that it is getting out so well with only a 1 volt rms signal
approx 3Vpp into a 50 OHm Load (40 m GP antenna).

I plan to add a tuning system to the unit soon
along with an option to Modulate (AM) using external audio source.
(Edit: I suggest adding a 50 OHm resistor in the path to ground from the relay).
