Tensions are expected to rise again in the Odisha Assembly as opposition parties gear up to corner the government over the SCB Hospital fire incident and casualties.

BJD and Congress are likely to intensify their demand for the Health Minister’s resignation, accusing the government of negligence. The issue may dominate both Question Hour and Zero Hour, leading to disruptions in the House.

Along with the hospital incident, the opposition is also set to raise concerns over alleged horse-trading in Rajya Sabha elections, further escalating the political battle.

Meanwhile, key departments including Agriculture, Food Supply, Fisheries, Energy, Handloom, and MSME are scheduled for discussions during Question Hour. Later in the day, deliberations on Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water expenditure will take place.
