We came across the article “A lob wedge is the most dangerous club in your bag—and not in a good way” on GolfWRX, and it caught our eye, as this is a pretty interesting theory for possibly improving your golf game.

The lob wedge, especially the 60 degree, is a difficult club to hit, and serves a very specific purpose. Maybe you want it in your bag so you can hit awesome flop shots like Phil Mickelson, or maybe you have that extra slot for a club in your bag, so it makes sense to carry it. However, sometimes, it might be best to leave out the temptation to use such a difficult club, and leave those beautiful flop shots to the pros, like Phil.
