Before going anywhere at all, with only 140km on the clock, the new Mahindra is up on the hoist and getting some attention. This is the first in a series of clips where Roothy's showing us what his bushmechanic brain says should be done to achieve the longest life out of a new vehicle. Mind you, it's all an adventure because John's never owned a new vehicle other than a couple of motorbikes which he's still got 44 and 37 years later anyway.
Tight bastard.
It took him a couple of years of borrowing new vehicles and testing them to find what fits him and as usual he's going against the usual choices, branching out and trying something different. Anyone who's driven bush tracks with him will recognise that approach!
Hang in and we'll see how this Mahindra works in the Aussie outback.
