🍄Gatos Lisérgicos ha sido mi primer proyecto largometraje documental, comenzado como una idea loca para mí trabajo final del grado de Comunicación Audiovisual y acabando como un viaje obsesivo durante dos años.🍄

🌿Hace 7 años fundé mi banda Santa Planta movido por la fuerza del fuzz y la oscuridad de Black Sabbath, jamás se olvidará el día que fui invitado por primera vez a una de las fiestas underground en torno a la escena Stoner de Madrid, cuando me introduje de lleno a una comunidad que respira distorsión, creatividad y resistencia.

Este documental es un viaje, un viaje al corazón de la escena underground stoner madrileña, desde sus raíces hasta su vibrante presente, pero tambien, un viaje hacia los confines del hermanamiento que surge en los pogos, en las charlas después de conciertos y en el apoyo a las bandas locales. con Gatos Lisérgicos, busco reclamar que el underground y todas las escenas que lo conforman debe resistir, y lo hace, gracias a las personas que no solo lo apoyan sino que lo crean y que respiran una pasión por la música y la autogestión inconmensurable.

Espero que lo disfrutéis casi tanto como yo haciéndolo y escuchando en directo a todas las bandas que veréis en él.

🍄Gatos Lisérgicos was my first feature-length documentary project, which began as a crazy idea for my final project for my degree in Audiovisual Communication and ended up as an obsessive two-year journey.🍄

🌿Seven years ago, I founded my band Santa Planta, driven by the power of fuzz and the darkness of Black Sabbath. I will never forget the day I was invited for the first time to one of the underground parties surrounding the Stoner scene in Madrid, when I was introduced to a community that breathes distortion, creativity, and resistance.

This documentary is a journey, a journey to the heart of Madrid's underground stoner scene, from its roots to its vibrant present, but also a journey to the confines of the brotherhood that emerges in the mosh pits, in the conversations after concerts and in the support for local bands. With Gatos Lisérgicos, I seek to claim that the underground and all the scenes that comprise it must resist, and it does, thanks to the people who not only support it but also create it and breathe a passion for music and immeasurable self-management.

I hope you enjoy it almost as much as I did making it and listening live to all the bands you will see in it.
