Trained by her father Ivan Rodrigues, a junior coach, Jemimah grew up surrounded by cricket. A natural athlete, she not only excelled in cricket but also represented Maharashtra in hockey at the Under-17 and Under-19 levels.
Her cricket journey began early — she debuted for Mumbai Women at age 12 and later smashed an unforgettable 202 in an Under-19 match*, a performance that turned heads across India. In 2018, she made her international debut in both T20Is and ODIs, quickly becoming known for her elegant stroke play and calm presence under pressure.
Jemimah has been a key part of India’s campaigns in major tournaments, including the 2020 and 2025 ICC Women’s World Cups, where her 127-run knock against Australia became iconic. In the Women’s Premier League, she represents Delhi Capitals, known for her consistency and team spirit.
