Welcome back to part 2 of our engine rebuild for a 2006 chevrolet silverado pickup truck 5.3l v8. In the last episode we did our teardown and inspection on the motor we got from the salvage yard. We the sent the block off to the machine shop to have the block cylinder walls honed and the camshaft bearings installed. In todays episode we will clean and rebuild the cylinder heads and engine block including assembling the crankshaft, pistons, piston rings, camshaft and oil pan.
